Steve and Gail,

Barry and I went to Wunder Brewing at 9th and Irving.

Beer is much improved from the Old Eldos. Very clean, good session beers. The brewer John knows what he is doing, since he made an excellent Pilsner.
Food is good too, great garlic string beans

It is easy to get to, just get off BART at Embarcadero and get on the MUNI undergroung and take the N Judah line. It will take you right to their doorstep. Get off at Ninth Ave stop at Irving.

Got to love the place, they advertise on KPIG.

Cheers,
Paul

FYI: I prefer to get to Toronado by taking the N-Judah MUNI "light-rail".

You just get off BART at the Civic Center Station (or any of the other stations
that are on Market), climb one level up, and go into the Muni Light Rail Platform.

Get on the next N-Judah train (every 3rd one or so), and stay on it
about 5-10 minutes until the train emerges above ground.

Just after it crosses Church, get off and walk the few block up up
the hill on Fillmore to Haight St., turn left up Haight for another half block,
and you are there.

Alternatively you can stay on the N-Judah MUNI train for a few more blocks,
and get off at Duboce Park (before the train goes underground again).
Walk across the park and the few blocks to Haight St., and turn
right and walk about 1.5 more blocks. (I like this better
because its a level walk, more or less).

Either way, its less than 1/4th mile of walking.
