This small English-inspired pub, located in a bit of a run down alley in otherwise toney downtown Palo Alto, offers a fine selection of imported and American beers, poured from 20 taps and a cask. They typically offer 4-5 very interesting rotating draft selections, plus an extensive and interesting bottle collection. The food menu includes English and American pub staples with a hint of Indian accent. There is a small outside space to allow patrons to take advantage of Palo Alto’s often superb weather.
Located just a few of blocks from the Palo Alto CalTrain station, Rose and Crown makes a great stop for regular commuters, visitors waiting for the once-an-hour weekend trains as well as local beer fanciers.
