After five years of making and packaging beer without benefit of their own brewery, Almanac’s beers are now available in its own tap room and restaurant. The 20 taps will generally pour 15 Almanac beers, a couple of wines, a cider and a soda. On occasion you might find a guest beer.
The new tap room is more than a beer bar. It features a full food menu including locally raised meats ranging from hamburgers to duck sausage. There are also a couple of vegan selections so your whole crew can chew.
There is seating at the bar and at tables in two rooms. Many of the seats have a view of the open kitchen. In the back there is a large patio.
Almanac beers by the bottle are sold and may be taken away. Growlers also can be filled.
Extras: Rosamunde is steps away from the station. Pi Bar, Old Bus Tavern, and Old Devil Moon are close enough to make a great Mission/Bernal beer day. Amnesia is not far in the opposite direction for a great music and beer experience.
