Black Hammer/Pacific Brewing Laboratory is an attractive brewery tap room, featuring mostly malt-forward Black Hammer beers brewed in the German and English traditions and Pacific Brewing Laboratory beers mostly in contemporary American styles. Often one of the beers is live-infused with coffee, hops or other ingredients as it is being served through a randall device.
The two breweries have joined forces in this gorgeous space, festooned with Burning Man-inspired cartoon murals, sculptural lighting fixures and surrealist paintings. Along with the visual delights, high numbers of outlets for chargers, free wifi, comfy furniture and the “acoustically optimized” sound system take care of all the supporting senses for the aroma and flavor of fresh beer.
Kids, dogs and outside food are welcome. Sometimes food trucks park outside.
