Dirty Water is large, upscale restaurant with a separate bar area. The bar area has tables and comfy chairs and couches throughout making for many different seating options for small and large groups. Choice is the word here. You can select a beer from one of 52 taps as well as at least an equal number of wines by the glass. Cocktails are also served.

The beer list is excellent, featuring locals, domestics and imports. The servers know their beers and are happy to talk about them to help you decide. Tastes are happily offered.

There are plans to start brewing on premise. The tanks are in, but as of January, 2016, brewing has not yet started.

Extras: Across Market St. is a smaller, lower-key beer bar, The Beer Hall. Also, within easy walking distance are Cellarmaker Brewery and City Beer Store.
