The Beer Hall opened in San Francisco’s Civic Center neighborhood soon after Twitter moved its corporate offices across Market Street. Similar to South of Market’s City Beer Store, they are a combination taproom and bottle shop.
The Beer Hall features 20 taps, usually 19 beers and a cider. The beer list features a nice array of local and regional beers complemented by some nationals and internationals. They also offer four wines.
Bottles are displayed on shelves and when you make your choice they will fetch a cold one from the cooler in the back room. The price displayed on the bottle is for enjoying on-premise. If you want to take it away, subtract 20% from the price tag.
The small bar has ten seats and there are seven tables spread around the modest-size room. There is one television. They offer table service and bar snacks only.
