Temescal Brewing is a cool little brewery and beer garden in an up and coming neighborhood of Oakland. It features a small tap room with a larger outdoor patio. On rainy days, half the patio is usually tented. There is a dedicated space outside for a food truck which is regularly occupied with a vehicle making tasty items. You are welcomed to bring in your own food.
One TV shows local sports. The fermentation tanks are in full view from the bar and seating area. The window seats provide a view of the street scene on this section of Telegraph Avenue.
At any given time there will be 5-10 house beers to choose from.

Walk out of BART and go left onto 40th Street. Turn right on 40th and continue one block to Telegraph Ave. Turn left on Telegraph and walk about 1/2 block to Temescal Brewing on the left.
Note that MacArthur BART station has seen late night crime such as parking lot break-ins over the years. Keep your urban street smarts with you after dark.
