Opened in 2022, Olfactory Brewing and Blending Co. on Third at 20th Street in the Dogpatch district, steps onto the scene with a range of lagers and hoppy beers, and plans for a barrel-aged program to come. Initially, six beers appeared on draft, with room for more and plans for sodas and other options. There is no kitchen, but a food-truck-like pop-up kitchen may be available in the small front patio just off the sidewalk. There are also restaurants nearby.
You’ll find long tables made of slabs of gorgeous wood, exuberant plants, cushioned stools at the bar and splashes of blacklight-like colors. You may recognize the location as the re-imagined former home of the late Triple Voodoo Brewing.
Extras: A few blocks away you’ll find waterfront parks and walks along the shore of the Bay. You can also walk to Harmonic Brewing from here. Further out along 3rd Street, going to to the Evans St. MUNI stop will put you a short walk from the Hunters Point Brewing/ Speakeasy Brewery and Taproom.

Olfactory Brewing is well served by multiple transit options. The simplest way is to exit the Embarcadero BART and proceed down within the station to the MUNI Metro platform. Take the K/T Sunnydale train “inbound” towards Visitacion Valley to the 20th Street stop (between 20th and 21st).
Other Transit Options from BART Stations:
1) The same instructions apply to transferring onto the K or T lines from any of the four downtown BART stations.
2) From the 16th St. station, walk to the southwest corner of 16th and Mission St. Board the #22 Fillmore bus. Take the bus to the end of the route at 20th St. and 3rd St. Walk back across 3rd St., turn left and walk 1/2 block to the brewery. 16th Street is the closest station for those who wish to take a car share or cab.
